I'm not sure what I'm thinking lately.
I keep taking on new projects, even though I lack the time to work on the projects I ALREADY have. So I find myself neglecting my beloved (beloved to ME at least) The Path in order to work on paying gigs that are not personally satisfying in any way (for instance, just did a mural of the Teen Titans in a kid's bedroom so I could put the $ towards the MM book). I miss my comics...I like to think that other people miss them too.
By my calculations, however, that mural pretty much paid for 130 copies of the book. So hoo-ha and hee-haw for MM (sorry, haven't quite gotten TX out of my system)!
On a different note, a spash-page battle for DDCW turned into a double-splash page. Just 20 minutes ago, it started turning into a TRIPLE. Yes, three pages, taped together...it's actually quite epic. When I get home in the morning, I'll take a pic of it and post it for all to see.
I'm going to start nagging you guys now about entries for the book. NAG! Seriously. 30 days, kids. Anyone who DIDN'T get the email I sent out with the specs and page template PLEASE email me at riot.james@gmail.com so I can resend it to you. I don't want this to turn out to be just me, Zac, Acadia, and Wingnut putting stuff in. I really would like to have EVERYONE in MM represented.
That's it for now, gang. I have to go pretend I'm doing work now before someone catches on.

Let me know if sending you cash can make more books. I have LOTS of people here who want to BUY some.
Why didn't we think of Bio pages earlier?
Hold off on sending any $. My main concern is to have copies for WWLA, because that's the closest and setting UP the printing takes a lot longer than just reordering.
Besides, the reason I'm taking crappy freelance jobs is so none of you guys need to worry about the printing costs. So don't worry about it.
We could just use Freux's or Pixie's pages for the biography space, considering they havent posted and are pretty much disappeared.

Bio pages will be the "cover" to everyone's six pages. That way, nobody needs to worryabout it cutting into their six pages. I'll send out another email with the particulars later.
Hmmm I don't know about me & Amy. We've got a Night School due by the end of January. Our scheduel is pretty tight. We've got a story planned but with a wedding, honeymoon, christmas, and 100 page Graphic Novel all happening 6 pages a piece is more then you would think.
Maybe you could just throw some old pages at us in a teaser sort, Nick?
I'm working on my pages as fast as I can.
I've got a few Allan readers who can't make it to WW, though, and they want to know if this will be available online for purchasing?
Also, uh, did I mention Sample Book = Awesome?
