So, fun stuff happening on the Acquired Taste front my friends! I had the first meeting with our prospective web developer today! He's a great guy, and pretty much just what we're looking for. Funny thing? I went to high-school with em! Nuts eh? But yeah, he sure as hell knows he's stuff, so maybe (just maybe) the actual site might be up in time for WW-TX! So, I'll be working on that over the next few weeks, as well as wildly scrambling to finish midterms. Oh dearie me. Thats coming up isn't it?! DAMN!
Also, I've been working on drawing those damn women folk. I've just kind of avoided it until now, but I'm really gonna have to learn how to draw them. So, here as some quick sketches, inked and made glossy with a ten minute coloring job. Heh.
I think the one of her walking away is my favorite, but I'm getting the hang of it. Here is another one I did for Priceman. He did a fan art piece for me a looooong time ago, and I just now got around to making him one.
Thats his man character Zera. She's a fun one to use as a model, especially for bitchin' action shots. Although, I wish I would have played around more with the perspective in this one, I like the way it turned out. And I sent it to him on his b-day! What are the odds?
So, you crazy cats, I'll keep ya posted on the progress of everything, and I will see ya soon! Shazam!
(Acadia, I don't think your head is smelly or stupid. ;D)
Cheers!

So's your face isnt.
Quick! Make some sense out of that!
Your coloring is really good. I would do some sketches of women you see around, like in public (make sure they don't think you're stalking them). I think a lot of guys learn to draw women from comic books, and that's why they end up looking so stereotype-y.
I had trouble drawing men, but then I was instructed to study Figure Drawing For All Its Worth (or What Its Worth or whatever) by Andrew Loomis. It's a good book and I would recommend it to you also. Good luck!
